Here is a list of committees that we are forming and need members for, if you are interested in any of these areas please contact Tammy Loewe 

Committees

  • Career Opportunities and Referral Committee--This committee is responsible for compiling information on possible career opportunities and part-time jobs for members of the chapter.  They also keep in touch with criminal justice organizations on new developments in the criminal justice field.  Employment listing services are available from the Grand Chapter.
  • Membership Committee--This committee is responsible for screening all applications for membership into the chapter.  the committee should check that all applications are filled out correctly, signed by the applicant, and signed by the Chapter President and Chapter Secretary before they are sent to the Grand Chapter for processing.
  • Marksmanship Committee--This committee is responsible for recruiting and interviewing potential members who wish to participate in the Chapter's marksmanship activities.  The Committee is responsible for coordinating the shooting schedule for members at designated places and times.
  • Social Activities/PR Committee--This committee is responsible for all social/athletic activities.  This includes guest speakers, trips, movies, TGIF socials with a given theme, intramural sports, banquets, chapter parties, and any other activities.  This committee shall also be responsible for the publicizing of all activities of the chapter.
  • Fund-Raising Committee--This committee is responsible for setting up fund raisers for the chapter to help raise money for chapter activities.  Some examples may be, car washes, bake sales, bowl-a-thons, raffles, etc.
  • Community Service Committee--This committee is responsible for undertaking all community-service projects representing the American InterContinental University Criminal Justice Program, and the chapter, including volunteer work, Christmas for underprivileged children, Hosea Williams feed the hungry Thanksgiving dinner, etc.
